Description
No. 46 Chapel Road is a late 17th-century building that originally consisted of three houses, now combined into one dwelling. It is constructed from squared coursed limestone and features a thatch and concrete tile roof. The building is single storey with an attic and has a five-window range of 20th-century casements, along with one 17th-century two-light stone mullion window. There are two eyebrow dormers in the attic, one of which also has a two-light stone mullion window. The front has two 20th-century doors set under wooden lintels between the window ranges. Ashlar stacks are located at the ridge and the end of the building. To the right, there is a 20th-century stone garage, and the rear has been partially reconstructed in the 20th century. Inside, the property features two open fireplaces with bressumers, stop-chamfered spine beams, and remnants of the original roof structure.
