Description

Hunters Manor is a farmhouse, now a house, dating to the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed of limestone ashlar with a Collyweston slate roof. Originally designed with a 2-unit plan, the house has two storeys with an attic. The front elevation features a 4-window range of 20th-century casement windows set within the original openings and protected by stone lintels. A 20th-century door is located to the left of the centre, approached by a flight of steps, also beneath a stone lintel. The building has a chamfered plinth and a string course running between the floors. The gable parapets are of ashlar, with kneelers, and three hipped roof dormers each containing a casement window. The ends of the house feature ashlar stacks with moulded cornices. A 19th-century extension is present to the rear. The interior has not been inspected.
