Description

This is a mid-18th century house located on Chapel Road. The house is constructed from squared coursed limestone and has a roof covered with 20th-century plain tiles. It follows a three-unit plan and has a three-window front. The windows are 20th-century casements set within the original openings and are covered by wooden lintels; some windows have been replaced. A 20th-century door and porch are located to the right of the centre of the front. Ashlar gable parapets top the building, and brick and ashlar stacks rise from the ridge and end of the roof; one stack has a moulded cornice. The interior was not inspected, but it is noted to contain an open fireplace. The house is included on the register for its group value within the surrounding area.
