Description
Rose Cottage is a house located on Pilton Main Street, dating from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed from squared coursed limestone and features a plain-tile roof that was added in the 20th century. The original design was a three-unit plan, and the building stands two storeys tall. The front has a three-window range of 19th-century casement windows set under wooden lintels. To the left of the center, there is a 20th-century door and porch, while a small 20th-century casement window to the right of the center is positioned under an older lintel. The house has an ashlar stack at the left end and brick stacks in the center and to the right. The rear of the building is similar in style but features 20th-century casements. The interior has not been inspected. Rose Cottage is included in the listing for its group value with nearby structures.
