Description

Lilford Bridge over the River Nene is a bridge from the early 19th century, likely constructed for Lord Lilford. It is made of limestone ashlar and features a single shallow arch with a keyblock. The parapet is adorned with square balusters connected by arches, and there is a raised band below the parapet. An earlier bridge, built by the Elmes family of Lilford Hall, is noted to have had ten arches.
