Description

Brownstones is a house located on Main Street in Little Harrowden. It dates from the mid-18th century and was altered in the 19th century. The building is constructed of regularly coursed limestone and ironstone, topped with a slate roof. It has a three-unit plan and stands two storeys tall. The front features a three-window range of 20th-century casements set under wooden lintels, which have been renewed. There is a 20th-century door to the left of the centre, also under a wooden lintel. The right gable shows remnants of kneelers, and there are brick stacks at both ends. The interior has not been inspected. The building is included for its group value.
