Description

House at 97 Main Street, dating from the early 18th century and restored in the 20th century. It is constructed of regularly coursed ironstone with a thatched roof. The original layout was a three-unit plan. The house is a single storey with an attic and features a three-window range of eyebrow dormers with 20th-century casements. To the right, there are two ground floor casements that retain their original wood lintels. A 20th-century door is located to the left of the centre. The gable parapets and kneelers on the left are made of ashlar, and there is a brick stack at the end. The rear of the house is similar, with two openings that also have original wood lintels. The interior has not been inspected. This building is included for its group value.
