Description
Cedar Cottage is a house dating from the early 18th century, with alterations made in the 20th century. It is constructed of coursed squared ironstone and has a corrugated asbestos roof that replaced the original thatch, along with brick end stacks. The building has a three-unit plan and is two stories tall, featuring a four-window range. The original plank door is located to the right of the center and is topped by a wood lintel, set within a 20th-century gabled wood porch. To the right of the door is a two-light casement window, while a small one-light window is positioned to the left of the center. On the ground floor left, there is a three-light casement window. The first floor has two-light casement windows, all of which have wood lintels. The cottage also features a plinth, quoins, and stone-coped gables with kneelers.
