Description
Hill Side is a house dating from the mid-18th century, with some alterations made in the 20th century. It is constructed from squared, coursed ironstone and features a steeply pitched thatched roof. The building has brick end stacks set on stone bases. The layout consists of a two-unit plan with an additional lower unit on the right side. It stands two storeys tall, plus an attic, and has a two-window range. The entrance, located on the right, includes a 20th-century door and a thatched hood. On the ground floor, there are 20th-century windows fitted into the original openings, which have chamfered wood lintels. The first floor features two- and three-light metal casements set in wood frames, complete with wood lintels and wrought-iron casement fasteners. The building is also accented with ironstone quoins. The interior has not been inspected.
