Description
Manor House is a late 17th-century building that has been altered in the 20th century. It is constructed from coursed ironstone rubble and features a steeply pitched slate roof. The gables are stone-coped with moulded kneelers, and there is a brick ridge stack set on a stone base. The house has a four-unit plan and consists of two storeys and a cellar, with a five-window range. The elevation facing the road includes a gabled two-storey staircase projection of rectangular plan, which features a sundial. The ground and first floors have 20th-century windows fitted into the original openings, complete with stone lintels. The staircase projection has a two-light stone mullioned window along with two 20th-century windows, also with stone lintels. There are two two-light stone mullioned windows in the cellar. The entrance is located at the rear of the building. The interior has not been inspected. A photograph of the house is available in the National Monuments Record.
