Description

The Homestead is a house dating from the early to mid-18th century. It is constructed of coursed ironstone and has a thatched roof, with an old brick end stack to the left and a stone ridge stack with a brick shaft. The house is arranged with a three-unit plan and has two storeys and an attic, displaying a three-window facade. A 19th or 20th century four-panelled door is set beneath a thatched hood. There are three-light leaded casement windows, with a 20th century window on the left side. A 20th century hipped dormer to the left of the entrance features a leaded bay window. The interior has not been inspected.
