Description
Agdon House is a house built in the mid to late 18th century and early 19th century, consisting of several constructions. It is made of regularly coursed ironstone with some brick, and features a slate roof with brick end and ridge stacks. The building is L-shaped, with a wing on the left side at the rear. It has two storeys and a two-window range. The entrance has a flush panelled door set in a simple wood surround, topped with a hood supported by brackets. The windows are three-light casements with glazing bars, and there are stone lintels with keystones above them. The section to the left of the entrance is made of rougher stonework, and the left end is partly brick. The interior has not been inspected. Agdon House is included in the listing for its group value.
