Description
Kingsley House is a house dating from the late 17th century, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of coursed squared ironstone and features a plain-tile hipped roof with a brick ridge stack. The building has an L-plan layout and is two stories high with a four-window range.
To the right of the center, there is a 20th-century part-glazed door that is sheltered by a straight hood. This door is flanked by three-light leaded casement windows, each with hood moulds. Above the door, there is a similar window, and on the first floor, there are three-light ovolo-moulded stone mullion windows on both the left and right sides.
On the left side, there is a short projecting wing that features small two-light hollow-chamfered stone mullion windows on both the ground and first floor gable end, both of which also have hood moulds. Inside the house, there are chamfered spine beams.
