Description
No. 64 High Street is a house dating from the late 17th century, with some alterations and extensions made in the 20th century. It is built of coursed squared ironstone and has a concrete tile roof with brick ridge stacks. The house has a three-unit plan and stands two storeys high with an attic, featuring a five-window range. There is a 20th-century door to the left of the centre, which is framed by a stone surround and has a hood mould above it. To the right, there is a single-storey brick extension added in the 20th century. The first floor has small two-light windows, including one on the left with an avolo-moulded stone mullion. The half-dormer windows to the left and right of centre have moulded stone jambs, which are part of the original mullion window design.
