Description

This is a late 17th or early 18th century house, altered in 1959. It is constructed of coursed squared ironstone with a 20th-century plain-tile roof and brick end stacks. The house has a 2-unit plan and is arranged over two storeys and an attic, with a 3-window front. A central 20th-century door is set beneath a wooden lintel. To the left of the door is a 2-light stone mullion window with an ovolo moulding and a hood mould. Three 20th-century windows are located on the ground floor to the left and right, and a matching 2-light stone mullion window is positioned above the door. Further 3-light windows are located on the first floor to the left and right. The building has quoins, stone-coped gables with kneelers, and a 20th-century door and chamfered plinth to the rear, facing the High Street.
