Description
No. 6 Park Lane is a house dating from the late 17th century, with alterations made in the 18th century. It is constructed of coursed squared ironstone and features thatch and corrugated asbestos roofs, along with brick stacks at the ends and ridge. The building has a 2-unit plan with a cross-wing and stands two storeys tall with an attic, displaying a four-window range. There are two 19th-century plank doors positioned to the left and right of the centre, and the windows are irregularly arranged, consisting of 2- and 3-light casements, all featuring wooden lintels. The cross-wing is located to the right, while the left section of the house projects forward. To the left, there is a two-storey extension made of red brick from the 19th century, topped with a slate roof. The structure includes quoins and stone-coped gables with kneelers.
