Description

This is a mid-18th century house located on Dag Lane in Bozeat. The house is constructed from regular coursed limestone, now painted, and has a pantile roof. Originally designed with a three-unit plan, it now presents as a two-storey, three-bay arrangement with irregularly spaced casement windows, each with a wooden lintel. Some of the windows have glazing bars. A 20th-century entrance door is centrally positioned and protected by a wooden lintel. The house features gable parapets and brick and stone stacks at the ridge and ends. A small 20th-century extension is present at the right side. The rear elevation has a similar appearance, with one leaded casement window. The interior, which has not been inspected, is noted to contain ceiling beams and an open fireplace with a bressumer.
