Description

Homestead Farm is a farmhouse, now a house, dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of regularly coursed limestone and features a thatched roof. The building originally had a two-unit plan and is single storey with an attic. The ground floor has a two-window range, consisting of 19th-century casements with glazing bars set under wooden lintels. Above, there are similar eyebrow dormers. The central entrance has a 20th-century door with a hood. The farmhouse has gable parapets and brick stacks at the ridge and ends. To the right, there is a small 20th-century extension. Inside, there is an open fireplace.
