Description
Church Farmhouse is a farmhouse that has been converted into a house. It dates from the late 17th century, with additions from the 18th and 19th centuries. The building is constructed from regularly coursed limestone and features a plain-tile roof. It has a T-plan layout and consists of two storeys with an attic.
The entrance front includes a central wing with a two-window range at the ground floor, featuring 19th-century casements with margin lights and one 19th-century sash window with a small gable above, all set under wooden lintels. To the left, there is a one-window range of similar 19th-century sashes with a small gable above. The left range has a lean-to section with a catslide roof. There is a 19th-century part-glazed door in the return wall to the right and leaded casements in the return wall to the left. The building has brick and stone stacks at the ridge and end. The rear of the farmhouse is similar, with casements that have glazing bars and one gabled roof dormer. The interior has not been inspected.
