Description
Town Farmhouse is a late 17th-century farmhouse that has been converted into a house. It is built from regularly coursed limestone and features a slate roof. The original layout was a three-unit plan, and the building is two storeys high. The ground floor has a two-window range, while the first floor has one window, both featuring 19th and 20th-century casements under wooden lintels. To the left of the centre, there is a six-panelled door with a moulded frame and wooden lintel, and there is a blocked door to the right. A central staircase projection includes two small windows on its return. The building has renewed stone stacks at the ridge and at the end. At the rear, there is a single-storey extension with a thatched roof and a 20th-century extension. Although the interior has not been inspected, it is noted to have chamfered ceiling beams.
