WELLINGBOROUGH LONDON ROAD SP8967NW (West side) 11/126 Wall, gatepiers and gate 09/06/70 approx. 40m. N of Swanspool House (Formerly listed as Garden Wall to north of Swanspool House) GV II

Wall, gatepiers and gate. Mid C19 restored C20. Two sections of low ironstone wall with ashlar copings. Linked by square limestone ashlar gatepiers with ball finials and wrought iron gate with overthrow. Inscribed tablet to left of gatepiers "Swanspool House and grounds presented to the town by F.C. Chamberlain sq., on the 10th June 1919". Included for group value.
