Description
This structure consists of gates, gatepiers, and a wall, built around 1849, likely by J.G. Bland. It is made of limestone ashlar. The main feature includes a pair of panelled gatepiers with stepped tops, each topped with painted cast iron swans. These gatepiers are connected by a 20th-century wooden gate. There are also two smaller, similar gatepiers on either side, linked by 20th-century wooden handgates. Attached to the left and right are ashlar quadrant walls that end with square panelled piers. These gates lead to Lamport Hall and are located next to Swan Lodge.
