Description

White Owl Cottage is a house dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of squared coursed limestone with a thatched roof and follows a T-shaped plan. The house is single-storied with an attic. The front elevation features a two-window range of casement windows with glazing bars, with further windows in eyebrow dormers above. Ashlar gable parapets and stone stacks are present at the ends of the building. A four-panel door with a lattice porch is located in the left gable. The rear of the cottage is similar, with the addition of a 19th-century lean-to extension. The interior has not been inspected.
