Description
This is a terrace of four early 19th-century houses located on London Road in Wellingborough. The houses are built of brick with slate roofs and comprise a four-window range. Each house has a two-unit terraced plan and three storeys. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars, set within gauged brick heads. Number 7 has a six-panelled door to the left of centre, and Number 8 has a four-panelled door to the right of centre; both doors have fanlights and plain wooden surrounds. The roof is hipped with an overhanging soffit and three brick stacks at the ridge. Entrances to houses 6 and 9 are located in the side elevations. This group value relates to the architectural and historical significance of the terrace as a cohesive unit.
