Description

Rose Hill Flats 1, 2 and 3 is a house that has been converted into flats, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick and features a slate roof. The building has a double depth plan and stands two storeys tall. The main front, which faces the road, has a five-window range with a two-window range to the left that projects forward. On the ground floor to the right, there are two arch-headed sash windows with gothic glazing bars. The central triple arched opening, which was originally the entrance, has been converted into a window and is accompanied by a large late 19th-century stone bay to the left. The first-floor windows are also sash windows, some of which have glazing bars and gauged brick heads. The roof is hipped with an overhanging soffit and features brick stacks at the ridge and at the ends.

The garden front, located to the right of the main front, has a three-window range with a central arch-headed window that has Gothick glazing bars, flanked by arch-headed niches. The central door opening features an arch-headed fanlight and a 20th-century porch. To the right, there is an early 19th-century wooden bay window with curved sides.
