Description
The Manor House is a house that has been converted into flats. It was built around 1770 and has early 19th-century alterations and additions. The structure is made of brick and features tile roofs with brick chimneys. It has a central-staircase plan with a lower rear wing and a parallel rear range. The building stands three stories high and has a symmetrical three-window facade. The entrance includes a doorcase with panelled pilasters and richly decorated bay windows with friezes, featuring 8:12:8-pane sash windows. The first and second floors have segmental-headed windows, with a top-hung casement, a 12-pane sash, and a 4-pane horned sash on the first floor, while the second floor has casements flanking a 6-pane sash. There are end stacks on either side. At the rear, there is a two-storey gabled wing with a cornice and a coped gable, along with a large lateral stack, and a three-storey parallel single-window range. A small wing on the right side has been significantly altered and converted into shops. The interior has not been inspected.
