Description
Church Farmhouse and Hawthorn Cottage are probably 18th-century farm buildings, later refurbished in the late 20th century. They have been divided into two separate dwellings. The main farmhouse is of three storeys and has a two-window facade. The windows have segmental heads and modern casements. The rear of the farmhouse features a gabled wing and a two-storey porch wing, with a 20th-century entrance door. A large lateral brick stack is also present. Hawthorn Cottage is a single-storey building with an attic, exhibiting similar details to the farmhouse, including gabled dormers and a large cross-axial brick stack. A rear 20th-century gabled porch and a further 20th-century addition are also part of Hawthorn Cottage. The interior of the farmhouse has been noted for its chamfered beams and a large fireplace. The buildings are included on the list for their group value.
