Description
Drayton House is a house built in the early to mid-18th century, with an early 19th-century addition. It features plain tile and slate roofs with raised verges, and has brick stacks at the center and integral ends. The building consists of two parallel ranges aligned east-west, with the 18th-century range on the south side.
The south elevation has two storeys and a gable-lit attic, with two bays. The windows are casements with segmental heads, except for a glazing bar sash on the first floor to the right and an extra narrow window on the first floor to the left. The north elevation also has two storeys and three windows, which are glazing bar sashes with segmental heads, while the ground floor features tripartite windows. The central entrance has a six-panelled door with a rectangular overlight, framed by a pilastered and panelled doorcase.
