House. C17 with C18 and C19 alterations and additions. Brick cladding, partly rendered, to timber-framed structure; tile roof with coped gables and brick stacks. L-plan. Gable facing, front to left; single storey with attic; symmetrical 3-window range. Projecting C19 two-storey gabled porch with pointed opening, overlight to inner 4-panel door with some glazing, narrow return lights and small 1st floor casement window. Ground floor has 2 segmental-headed windows with C20 cross-casements. Gable-end stack and 2 cross-axial stacks. Right return to street is plastered; 2 segmental-headed windows with C20 cross-casements to each floor; left return has similar boarded window to each floor. Rear elevation has blind gable to right of C19 lean-to outshut. Interior: much exposed timber framing, mostly C17, with a re-used curved brace reputed to be a fragment of a C14 base cruck.
