Description

Fazeley Bridge is a road bridge over the River Tame, built in 1796. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features three segmental arches. The east side has pointed cutwaters adorned with paired baseless Tuscan columns. The bridge includes a cornice and plain parapets, which are fitted with 20th-century lamps. The ends of the bridge are swept forward and exhibit channelled rustication. There are rectangular end buttresses topped with pyramidal caps. This bridge was built following the destruction of a previous bridge due to flooding.
