Description

Coventry Canal Bridge Number 75 is a canal bridge built between 1785 and 1790, with later repairs, designed by engineer Thomas Sheasby. The bridge is constructed of brick and features stone coping. It has a segmental arch and parapets supported by stone-coped brick piers with rounded coping, although some repairs have been made to both parapets. The sides of the bridge display numbered plates, and the western abutment is pierced by a small round-vaulted tunnel. This bridge is part of a series along the Coventry Canal.
