Description
This is a terrace of seven houses, numbered 1 to 7, located on the west side of Grange Lane. The houses date from the early to mid-19th century and are constructed of brick, with hipped slate roofs. Each house has two storeys and one bay. The windows are segmental-headed and feature small-paned casements, although Number 1 has sliding sashes and Number 4 features casements with a plank door. The round-headed entrances are topped with blind fanlights and have 20th-century panelled doors; Number 1 has a plank door. The group value of these cottages lies in their cohesive appearance and contribution to the streetscape.
