Description

38 and 40 Gateacre Brow are a pair of cottages dating from the early 19th century. They are constructed of brick with stone dressings and feature a slate roof. Each cottage is two storeys high and has one bay. The top frieze is supported by corbels. The windows have wedge lintels and are sashed with glazing bars. The entrances are round-headed.
