Description
The Brown Cow is a public house built in the late 19th century. It features timber framing on a brick base and has a slate roof with tile cresting. The building is two storeys high and consists of four bays. The second bay projects under a gable, while the fourth bay projects with a cornice. The windows are small paned casements, with the second and fourth bays having rectangular bay windows that include central arched lights. The first bay has a cast entrance, and the third bay has an open gabled porch with windows on either side of the door. There is an end entrance in an enclosed porch with a hipped roof. The right return is made of stone, and there are two brick stacks.
