Description

This is a terrace of four houses, numbered 8 to 14 Pennyfarthing Street, built around 1840 to 1850. The houses are red brick and extend over three storeys. They have a low-pitched gable end tiled roof with projecting eaves. Numbers 8 to 12 each have a single window front, while number 14 has two. The windows are flush-framed sash windows with intact glazing bars. The houses feature flush-panelled doors, simple doorcases, and projecting cornices. Number 14 has a modern door and a passage entry on the left side. Numbers 6 to 20 (even) form a group.
