Description

No. 16 Pennyfarthing Street is a late 18th-century building that has been much restored. It is two storeys high with an attic and constructed of red brick, which is painted on the ground floor. The roof is a new tile half-hipped gable end, featuring a dormer. On the first floor, there are three original flush framed sash windows with glazing bars. The ground floor has a pent slate roof with two renewed sashes and a panelled door located to the right. This building is part of a group that includes Nos. 6 to 20 (even).
