Description

26 and 30 Winchester Street are two adjoining buildings from different periods. Number 26 is an 18th-century structure with three storeys, made of painted brick, featuring a half hipped old tile roof and brick dentils. It has small casement windows on the first and second floors. Number 30 is a taller early 19th-century building, also with three storeys, and has a flat eaves design with one window each. The windows of Number 30 are recessed sashes with intact glazing bars. Both buildings have a common altered shop front with double doors on the ground floor. Numbers 18 to 26 (even) and 30 to 44 (even) form a group.
