Description
17 Winchester Street is a building that dates back to around 1800, featuring a refronting of an earlier structure. It is possibly two storeys tall and constructed of painted brick, with an eaves band. The gable end has an old tile roof that continues over the adjacent buildings at numbers 19 and 21. On the first floor, there is one tall flush architrave framed sash window. The ground floor has a modernised Victorian shop front. Numbers 17 to 21 are recognized as a group.
