Description

QUEEN STREET 1. 1594 (East Side) No 21 SU 1430 SE 2/548 II GV 2. Elaborate sham timber frame and stonework, 1878 by H Hall. 2 storeys and attic. 2 gabled jettied bays, recessed centre. Gable end tiled roofs, bargeboards to gables and finials. Heavy chimneys. Mullioned and transomed windows. Brick ground floor canted stone mullioned and transomed bay window to left. To right very large canted stone mullioned and transomed window carried up to 1st floor. 4 canted arched ornamented doorway to centre. 2 gables to Winchester Street, brick ground floor, similar fenestration.
