Description

No. 51 Blue Boar Row is a 16th-century building that stands three stories tall, with its gable end facing Blue Boar Row. The exterior features tile hanging and is painted, topped by an old tile roof. On the second floor, there is one mullioned and transomed casement window, while the first floor has two similar casement windows. The ground floor has a plain modern shop front.

The building also has a front facing Endless Street, which is two stories high and features four casement windows on the first floor, also tile hung. The ground floor here has a plain modern shop window, and to the right of the center is an early 19th-century six-panel door, which is flush type and set in a plain surround. This door is topped by a plain rectangular fanlight and a small cornice hood supported by good scroll brackets. The cornice extends across the front at the base of the tile hanging, although it is concealed. The ground floor wall was originally stuccoed but has been tiled, with a shop window inserted to the right. Inside, the first-floor room boasts good panelling.

No. 51, along with Nos. 41 to 44 and the Blue Boar Inn, forms a group with Nos. 45 to 51.
