Description
Nos 3, 5, and 5B on Winchester Street are 18th-century buildings that stand three storeys tall and are constructed of painted brick. They feature narrow sill courses, a moulded brick cornice, and a tall panelled parapet that sweeps up to the corners, topped with stone coping. The roof is covered with old tiles. The façade includes four flush framed windows without glazing bars, and there is a small Palladian window set in a segmental arched recess on the second floor. On the first floor, there are two windows and two casements that have replaced a canted bay and a similar Palladian window to the right. The ground floor has modern shop fronts, and there is a yard entry on the right side. Nos 1, 3, 5, and 5B are part of a group with No 2 Endless Street.
