Description
Limberlost is a Grade II listed house located on Frittenden Mill Lane, dating back to the 15th century. It features a timber-framed structure with exposed timber and plaster infill, topped with a plain tiled roof. The original design is a four-bay hall house plan with end jetties on both the left and right sides. The building stands two storeys high on a stone plinth, with a hipped roof that has gablets and a central stack on the right side.
On the first floor, there are four leaded wooden casements, while the ground floor has three irregularly sized wooden casements. To the centre left, there is a hipped 20th-century pentice with a boarded door leading to a porch. The original entrance and fire bay framing can still be seen on the centre right. At the rear, there is a catslide outshot, along with a late 20th-century two-storey half-hipped wing that is tile hung.
