Description

The property comprises two houses, formerly a single dwelling, located in Hickmire, Wollaston. It was built in 1727. The exterior is of regular coursed limestone, now painted, with a thatched roof. The building follows a three-unit plan. It has two storeys and a three-window front with casement windows featuring glazing bars, all set beneath wooden lintels. There are two 19th-century four-panel doors, also beneath wooden lintels; the right-hand door has a small 19th-century shop window attached to its side. Gable parapets are present, with kneelers and brick stacks at the ridge and end of the roof. A datestone is set into the left gable. The interior has not been inspected.
