Description
Stony Thatch is a house dating from the late 17th century. It is constructed of regularly coursed limestone and features a thatched roof. The building has a two-unit lobby-entry plan and is a single storey with an attic. The facade includes a two-window range with 19th and 20th-century casements, one of which has a wooden lintel. There is an eyebrow dormer on the left side. The central entrance consists of a four-panel door beneath a wooden lintel, accompanied by a 20th-century porch. Brick stacks are located at the ridge and at one end. Although the interior was not inspected, it is noted to have ceiling beams and an open fireplace with a bressumer.
