Description
Maltby's Farmhouse is a house dating from the 17th century. It features a timber frame with 17th to early 18th century brick infill, including some herringbone patterns. The ground floor of the front and right gables was rebuilt in brick during the 19th century. The house has a tiled roof and an off-centre brick chimney. It is two storeys high and consists of two bays. The left bay and the upper right bay have three-light wooden casements, while the centre of the first floor has a 20th-century single casement. The central lobby entry includes a half-glazed door with a flat wooden hood. There are small blocked windows in the first floor and attic of the left gable. Additionally, there is a small lower range at right angles to the rear, which is partly timber-framed.
