Description
This structure is a long barn with a short wall across the southwest end, flanked by gate piers, dating from the late 19th century. The barn features red brick on the northwest side and weatherboard on the southeast side. The south end has a round brick tower, with the upper part being half-timbered and filled with roughcast, topped by a conical roof. The roofs are covered with old tiles. At the northeast end, there is a slightly taller 18th-century block made of red and vitreous brick. The southeast side of the barn includes board doors and a wagon entry, along with later additions in the center. The brick wall has an arched top with rounded coping on a cogged base, and there are brick piers to the right with moulded corners, panels, a cornice, and part of a pyramidal top. To the left, a pair of gate piers flanks the south entrance to Mount Tabor House. The left pier is similar but has a rebuilt top, while the right pier has been completely rebuilt. This structure is included for its group value.
