Description
North Farmhouse is a house dating from the 17th century, which has been partly recased in brick and partly rebuilt in the early 19th century. It features a timber frame with an exterior now made of red brick and has dentilled eaves. The roof is tiled, and there is a large chimney made of 17th-century brick located between the right-hand bays. The house is two storeys high and consists of three bays. The windows are 19th-century barred wooden casements, with two-light windows in the outer bays and a three-light window in the center. The outer windows on the ground floor have cambered heads, while the center features a square bay window with a lean-to tiled roof. The lobby entry includes a six-panelled door set in a minimal lean-to porch. There are also lean-to extensions at the right end and the rear of the house.
