Description
Warren Farmhouse is a house dated 1813 on the bricks, with extensions from the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of red and vitreous brick, partly in a chequered pattern, with a plain plinth and moulded brick eaves. The roof is covered with old tiles and features flanking brick chimneys. The building has a T-plan layout and is two storeys high, with the south front consisting of three bays. The outer bays contain 5-pane sash windows with cut brick heads, while the centre features a 4-pane sash window on the first floor above a half-glazed door, which is set within a late 19th-century timber porch that has shaped bargeboards on the gable. The floor of the porch is made with large ammonites sourced from a local quarry. At the rear, there are 19th-century extensions at the angles and a small 20th-century porch extension to the east.
