Description

This is a 17th-century farmhouse, altered subsequently. It is timber-framed with whitewashed brick infill, with the ground floor of the three bays to the left rebuilt in whitewashed brick. The roof is covered in old tiles, and there is a large brick chimney between the right-hand bays. The farmhouse is two storeys high and has four bays, with the left bay being gabled and projecting. The windows are irregular 19th and 20th-century wooden casements, including a semi-circular three-light window on the ground floor to the left. A 20th-century door is found in the second bay. A gabled, two-storey porch projection between the right-hand bays features a 20th-century door and a paired barred wooden casement above. A 20th-century lean-to section has a door and casement to the left. A range of 19th and 20th-century single-storey outbuildings attached to the north-west corner is not considered to be of special architectural interest.
