Description

Kilnwood is a cottage dating from the mid-18th century. It features whitewashed render over flint and brick, with timber trusses visible in the gables and an old tile roof. There are two large external chimneys, one on the left and a smaller one on the right, both of which are partially rendered and whitewashed. The cottage has one storey and an attic, comprising two bays. The ground floor has paired wooden casements, with the lower ones barred, while the attic windows have single horizontal glazing bars set in small gabled eaves-line dormers. Each gable end includes a door within a lean-to porch, and there are small brick extensions, with the right side displaying a crude date of 1677.
